First Copic Card!
I recently discovered a very talented crafter--Darlene from darlenedesign.com. She was my main inspiration for this card. After surfing many blogs and watching many videos, I settled on buying Gina K. Designs paper to use with my copic markers. It was very affordable for me! Then after watching several video tutorials, I attempted my first coloring project with copics. Well, I'm pleased with the results! What do you think? I also used some nestabilities dies for layering and I really like how this card turned out! Thanks for looking!!
Supplies:
Paper-Stampin Up!
Stamps- Fabulous Florets and Teeny Tiny Wishes (SU!)
Ink-Stampin Up! Classic Ink
Accessories- Perfect Pearls spray mist, punches (SU!), copic markers, stickles, seam binding, nestabilities

Happy Birthday to my Friend
One of my dear friends celebrated her birthday a couple of weeks ago. Me being the crafty girl that I am decided to make her a birthday present. Despite many attempts to discover the length and width of my friend's camera strap I had to flat out ask her. I wanted to make her a camera strap cover for her Canon ISXI camera. Seeing that I have a Rebel I could not use the measurements from mine. I found the inspiration for this project HERE. She has a wonderful tutorial on how to make these. Instead of quilting mine, I just make one long strap out of a single piece of fabric. I also made one for my camera and it's very comfortable!
Of course I had to make her a birthday card that accompanied it!
All supplies are SU!
Thanks for looking! If you have any questions, please let me know!

Buzz Lightyear
My nephew loves Buzz Lightyear. His birthday party is this weekend and I recently purchased the Toy Story Cartridge to make a few things for him. Here is what I came up with.
I must say that I read a few of the posts from the cricut mb about this cartridge and I was a bit leery about putting this together. It was not as bad as I thought. It only took me about an hour to cut and put the card together.I cut the base and everything out at 6". I figured it would be easier if I just used my cricut expression the 'normal' way instead of using my gypsy! (It was so weird to cut with the machine and NOT with my gypsy). I love how the handbook shows you exactly what color to cut everything in. That made it much easier!! I'm glad that I chose to make this a larger card and cut Buzz at 6". Some of the pieces were really small, so I don't know if I would cut it any smaller!! Thanks for looking!

Sun Fun
For the end of the year, I wanted to give each student a personalized note. I tucked this inside their report card for them to find at home. I wanted to wish them luck next year and to have a safe summer. I thought this set was perfect for that!
I realized how much I liked coloring as I put these together! It's been so long since I have sat down and colored anything like this. I used Stampin' Up!'s markers to color the kids and then I used an aqua painter and Tempting Turquoise ink for the water. Thanks for looking!
Supplies:
*Stamps: SU! Life's a Breeze, Sunny Fun
*Ink: Bermuda Bay, Summer Sun, Tuxedo Black-memento ink
*Paper: Bermuda Bay, Summer Sun, Whisper White
*Accessories: Dimensionals, SU! markers, curly label punch, embossing folder

Copics, Copics, Copics
I never thought it would happen to me, but look at what I acquired recently!!!
I won them and I have no idea what to do with them. Yes, I know what they are and I have honestly been eying these for some time, but I just couldn't fork out the money on my own to pay for them. Now I have 144 of them and I'm so excited. If you are a copic 'pro' (that's someone who knows more than me) and you have some wonderful advice or some links you could direct me to, I would be ever so grateful to you!! I am looking forward to showing you more upcoming projects with these wonderful things! Thanks for stopping by!!!

National Scrapbooking Month
Happy National Scrapbooking Month to all my crafty friends! I'm so excited that we have an entire month to celebrate our hobby!! I'm sorry for the long delay in posts, but I hope to be creating some crafty goodness really soon. This time of the school year is super busy and doesn't leave me too much time to be creative! I guess I'll have to 'squeeze' some scrapping time in there somewhere!! :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day
Here is a card that I made for my monthly stamp group as swaps. Since we are meeting on St. Patrick's Day I thought these would be very appropriate.
If you love the stamps used, you better get them while they last! I used two Sale-A-Bration sets on the whole card (see below). For information on how to get these products, click HERE.
I also used a really cool embossing technique in which you assemble your project (the circle with clover) then run it though the die cut machine and kind of mesh it all together. It really looks neat in person!! If you have any questions, please let me know! Thanks for looking!!
Supplies:
**all Stampin' Up!**
Paper: Very Vanillia, Wild Wasabi, Garden Green
Stamps: Bliss (SAB), So Happy for You (SAB), Teeny Tiny Wishes
Accessories: Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Pear Pizzaz poly stitched ribbon, dimensionals
Punches: Modern Label, Word Window, 1 3/8" circle, Heart Small

Elegant Thank You Cards
Ok, so these were probably the easiest set of cards I've ever made. I made these Thank-You's as a gift for my sister. I used Stampin' Up!'s Whisper White cardstock which is my absolute favorite (and not b/c I'm a SU! demo). It is super smooth, stamped images are very even and smooth, and it just feels really, really nice.
The best part is, both of the stamp sets that I used on these cards didn't cost me a thing!!! Yes! Bliss (yellow damask like image) is a 2011 Sale-A-Bration set that you can ONLY get free with a $50 merchandise purchase. Thank You Kindly (sentiment) is a regular catalog set, but is offered as a free option during Sale-A-Bration! Sale-A-Bration promotion is only good through the end of March. If you would like to order these great sets, please click HERE.
If you have any questions or want to order the products to make these wonderful cards, please let me know! Thanks for looking!
Of course I packaged them up nice and pretty!

Bridal Shower Accessories
Here are some of the finishing touches from the bridal shower I hosted for my sister this past weekend! This coming up weekend is the wedding!!! Thank goodness next week is Spring Break and lots of recuperation time for me!! If you have any questions about project materials or how to's, let me know!! Thanks for looking!!!!This is the drink server that I purchased for $14.95 from Wal-Mart. It comes clear and I decided to 'dress' it up a bit with vinyl and the cricut! This turned out so wonderful and looked really cute on her cake table! We filled it with the orange sherbet punch (orange sherbet and ginger ale) and it was a bit hit!!!
These are the Hershey nugget candies all wrapped up and ready for someone to take home!
This glass block sat on the entry way table as guests signed in for the shower. It was really cute all lit up!

Bridal Shower Invitations
My sister is getting married in two weeks and she has graciously asked me to help out with the wedding! Along with my mom and sister-in-law, we are throwing her a bridal shower next weekend. I will be posting some of the hand crafted projects within the next two weeks. If you are planning a wedding or a shower, check back for some of my ideas. Thanks for looking!
Here is the bridal shower invitations that I sent out. Word to the wise, these cost $0.88 each to mail because of the ribbon knot. If you don't want to pay the extra postage, try a flatter bow or just simply wrap the ribbon around the whole card. The yellow insert is designed to pull out to the right, so I did not put any adhesive on the inside of the card. I used a word processing software to type 4 inserts onto a page and cut them apart! If you have any questions, let me know!! Thanks for looking!!
Supplies:
- Stampin' Up! paper in Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, and Daffodil Delight
- Shimmer White Cardstock
- Scallop border punch-SU!
- Elegant Lines Embossing folder-SU!
- Pumpkin Pie Satin ribbon-SU!
- stampin dimensionals
- Cricut cartridge-Sweethearts for bride umbrella

Baby Shower Banner
Continuing with all the goodies that I made for the baby shower, here is a welcome banner that we hung above the cake table.Supplies:
- cardstock in 4 different colors. Here is what I used *all from Stampin' Up!*: bashful blue, certainly celery, chocolate chip, not quite navy
- tie the knot cricut cartridge
- a child's year cricut cartridge
- 1 roll of 1/2" ribbon
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- 1 3/4" circle punch
- paper trimmer
- scallop edge punch *Stampin' Up!*
- score-pal
- crop-a-dile
- cuttlebug folder (fleur de lis)
- sticky strip (red tape)

Steps:
- cut the scallop pennants using the tie the knot cartridge. I cut three from a 8 1/2 X 11 sheet of not quite navy cardstock
- cut the inside portion of the pennant from certainly celery cardstock
- run the green inside portions through the cuttlebug to emboss them
- attach the green embossed paper to the not quite navy paper
- cut 1 1/2" X 11"strips of bashful blue cardstock **you need one for each pennant**
- punch one side of the strip with the Stampin' Up! scallop edge punch
- using the score-pal (or other scoring board, trimmer) score between each scallop
- accordion fold the strip on each score line.
- wrap ends of blue strip around and attach using sticky strip tape. **make sure that you attach the ends together while keeping the accordion shape matched up
- punch a 1 3/4" circle from the bashful blue cardstock
- attach hot glue to the circle and push the accordion strip down to form a circle shape. Hold until the glue dries.
- cut out welcome and the baby's name and attach each letter to the blue accordion fold you just created **I attached mine with hot glue**
- attach the blue accordion accent to the center of the pennant
- punch a hole in each corner of the pennant
- thread each pennant onto the ribbon leaving enough for spacing between words and enough to hang on the ends.
- step back and admire your creativity!!!
