Towel Cake

Well, I'm switching gears from diaper cakes to towel cakes. I created this cake for my sister's bridal shower. I found a youtube video HERE that was very helpful in rolling the towels. I cut the pumpkin pie paper into a doily design to go under the cake. This was really easy to make and I am going to use it as a decoration for the cake table. If you have any questions, let me know! Thanks for looking!!!

Bridal Shower Invitations

My sister is getting married in two weeks and she has graciously asked me to help out with the wedding! Along with my mom and sister-in-law, we are throwing her a bridal shower next weekend. I will be posting some of the hand crafted projects within the next two weeks. If you are planning a wedding or a shower, check back for some of my ideas. Thanks for looking!

Here is the bridal shower invitations that I sent out. Word to the wise, these cost $0.88 each to mail because of the ribbon knot. If you don't want to pay the extra postage, try a flatter bow or just simply wrap the ribbon around the whole card. The yellow insert is designed to pull out to the right, so I did not put any adhesive on the inside of the card. I used a word processing software to type 4 inserts onto a page and cut them apart! If you have any questions, let me know!! Thanks for looking!!

Lingerie Shower Invitations

My sister is getting married next month and while I'm busy getting ready for that I thought I'd show you the invites for her lingerie shower. They were super simple to make and turned out really cute! The hardest part was getting the wording to match with the shape. If anyone has done this before and has any suggestions, I would love to hear them!!!
I used one of my favorite color combos--bright pink and black! If you have any questions, please let me know!!! Thanks for looking!!!

Anyway......back to the box...... I gave these to my co-teachers for Valentine's Day. I LOVE the new red glitter paper in the Occasions Mini!!! The die I used is below!
